If My People

Prayer is at the heart of the Hope vision. We are partnering with Pray for Scotland to ensure that all our activity is rooted in, and covered by prayer.

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

We need the Lord to come and heal this land! This promise is conditional, and so we must pray.

Friday Focus

The World Prayer Centre has produced a weekly devotional called Friday Focus - each Friday has a special theme, scripture passage, items for thanksgiving and prayer and an opportunity to respond by taking practical action to reach out with God’s love. It can be used by individuals, groups or in church services to help focus prayer for those we want to see touched by the love of Jesus as well as for local and national issues.
